This Cookie Policy explains how Told (operated by RAF B.V., KvK 92038565) uses cookies and similar technologies on gettold.app.

2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember things about your visit, like whether you are logged in or what your preferences are.
We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage, which work in a similar way. In this policy, when we say “cookies,” we include these technologies too.
3. Categories of cookies we use
We use as few cookies as possible. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not allow third parties to track you across other sites through Told.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for Told to work. You cannot turn them off, because without them the service cannot function. We do not need your consent for these, because they are essential.

We do not use advertising cookies. Told does not show ads, and we do not allow advertising networks to track you on our site.
4. Third-party services
Some pages of Told load resources from third-party services that may set their own cookies. The main ones are:
- Stripe (on the checkout page only): sets cookies necessary for secure payment processing and fraud prevention. See stripe.com/cookies-policy/legal.
- Vercel (our hosting provider): may set cookies for performance and security purposes.
These services do not have access to your Told account data beyond what is needed for their specific function.
5. How to manage cookies
You have several ways to manage cookies:
Through Told:
- When you first visit gettold.app, you will see a cookie banner where you can accept or reject non-essential cookies.
- You can change your choice at any time in Settings > Privacy > Cookie preferences.
Through your browser:
- Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Look for “Cookies,” “Privacy,” or “Tracking” in your browser’s settings menu.
- Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent Told from working properly.

6. Do Not Track
We respect your privacy choices. Told does not use third-party advertising or tracking networks, so “Do Not Track” browser signals do not affect what we do, because we are not doing the tracking those signals are designed to block.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, particularly if we add new features that use cookies. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the app.
