When will we find the time?
One conversation is an afternoon, or an hour on a call. That's enough for a chapter. Most families do a handful over a few months. There's no deadline.
Do I need to be good with technology?
No. If you can open a website and press record, you can do this. Nothing to install, nothing to figure out. The point is to look at them, not at a screen.
They live far away. Does that still work?
Yes. You can do it together over a video or voice call. In the same room is lovely, but not required.
Can I do this for myself?
Yes. Choose 'Your own story' under How told works. told asks you the questions, and writes your chapters the same way.

Who writes the book?
told writes each chapter from the recording, in their words. You check and change every word. Nothing goes to print until you're happy.
Who can see the stories?

Yes. You keep the recordings and can download them any time, with nothing to renew each year.
